Arrested 29 times.

Physically assaulted several times.

Assasinated.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. — a Black man — was passionate about radically improving the condition of Black people in America. So he strategically organized a nation around the fight for equality and the disarmament of white-body supremacy. It was a fight for which he and his family would pay a great price. It was the cost of caring, if you will.

May his memory be a revolution, a blessing and an encouragement to get in as much good trouble as humanly possible…
